Some people consider these patches on the skin unsightly, and in this case, laser treatment is suitable.<\/p>\n<h2>Recommendations before the Laser session to treat age spots<\/h2>\n<p>As for all laser treatments, you should avoid being tanned (naturally or sunbed), avoid self-tanning lotions, medication that causes sensitivity to light or the sun, and the application of any other products (make-up, creams) on the areas to be treated.<br \/>\nA local anaesthetic such as EMLA cream can be applied 1 hour before the procedure.<\/p>\n<h2>How an age spot laser treatment session takes place<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>At the aesthetic medicine clinic.<\/li>\n<li>Detailed medical examination of the skin to be treated.<\/li>\n<li>Eliminate differential diagnostics requiring a skin biopsy or complete exeresis of the lesion with an anatomo-pathological analysis and contraindicating a laser treatment.<\/li>\n<li>Protect the eyes from the laser with special glasses.<\/li>\n<li>Using the Laser hand piece, pulses of light are applied to the pigment spots on the face, d\u00e9collet\u00e9 or the hands.
